Bournemouth 2012

Seeing good friends again after a long time is like finding treasures in your treasure box. You know they're in your heart though you have not seen them for a while. And when that happened, you already know what's next - fun!
I really had a great time and visiting the place for the first time with friends was really a great thing. Not to mention that it was Bournemouth festival!

There are few words that reminds me of my Bournemouth experience:
  • BUUURmot!
  • Airshow
  • Ateng
  • Purbeck
  • Mia&MJ
  • Prince Harry
  • Salted coffee
  • Poole
  • Robbie Boyd Band
  • The Queen Band

Bournemouth Pier

Public buses and taxis are all yellow and I don't know why
Good thing, we are able to visit the local church. Give thanks to God and for the timer in the camera! ^^

Trampoline was one of the busiest that any age can try. The park was quite busy since there were little tents all over with some activities such as circus workshop for children, magic tricks, fire eating show and there were birds show too wherein they can show tricks and children can touch them.
There's also band playing on the stage that people passing by can sing (if they want to). In the opposite side, there's a mini golf that the whole family can enjoy.

And since it was airshow festival, there were helicopters and jets resting before you reach the beach area. People can queue and explore inside it, not to mention the tall and smart looking pilots, men and women.

Royal Airforce

Red Arrows' lady pilot

i can't kick him out of his booth, so let him include in the picture.
Booths like this were all over the area, they were selling programs with some trivia and history about the airshow.
And of course, ice cream stands were in every corner to help fight against the sunny weather, and to meet our sugar needs. I can not help but to mention a must try and best ice cream in town PURBECK (I sound like Istine, hahah!). Please try honey scotch and berry something, yeah drool over!
Yes, topless people by the beach is so common here in the UK, in any age.
And when I say in any age, yessss! 0-80 years old (boys and girls, men and women).
I don't know if it's just me, but I really can not see the fun in doing this. I'd rather swim!
My dear friend Istine and Cheh
Do some reading
It's so relaxing just by sitting in the grass (or chair) and listen to the people singing.

Amazing fireworks
This month is very festive for the people in the UK and I love going to festivals because it's always like new experience plus plus with friends. How about you, when is the last time you saw an old friend? x

Hey, there's more in Brighton!

Hey guys!I have been planning to visit Brighton few years ago but schedules were not jiving. And this is the time, yeyyy! And all was set two weeks before the trip but the weather forecast doesn't agree with us. I was in doubt because I left London with gray sky. However, the sun smiled when we arrived. Walked straight to the beach area since the hotel was just in the sea front. We sat by the beach and i nearly doze off. Hahah! ;) The first day was the usual browsing and we just ate out, had oysters then had some cider by the beach and went back to the hotel. I'm from night shift (yes, I slept at around 9pm up until the next day) hahah!

Seafront hotel window
The second day was the long one. We accidentally pass the rail going Marina and have no idea what's on thr other side but still had a go. It was a 15 minute ride by the beach and 5-10 minutes walk. As I was starving, the restaurant was the first stop. Walked around the area and we saw some shops, more restaurants and the parking area for yatch as I call it. Hihih! Also, visit the free museums and make the most out of your visit :)

Brighton Wheel

I really liked the graffiti in the town.

All in all, a lot didn't know that there's more in Brighton than the pebbles in the beach instead of sand and the well known "Pier". Well, I can say that the town area and Marina deserve some attention too. If you've been there, go back and explore more. If you haven't, atleast now you have the idea and share something that I didn't mention. I will defo go back. How is your British summer so far? :)

I know there's so much to do in here but always enjoy the simple things such as sitting (or lay down) by the beach and watch the waves and clouds. Priceless.
My daily dose of oysters. ^^

Mandatory stupid shot :)

Cute little things

Okay, I haven't been out for a long time. Well, that's a long time for me so even visiting the town centre excites me. I have not seen what's new in the shops and every time I see new things is like finding little happiness in it and there comes my impulsive-buyer-self comes out! And here are my cute finds.
A purple velvety hanger to organise my necklace
A spring perfect knitted head band with glittery touch, as if you're wearing a crown when on :)
Coloured bird necklace with gold chain, i just cannot resist the cuteness.
Silk square scarf, adds a classy accent to a plain top.
Thumb-sized porcelain tea set for my baby kimmy beacause I'm going home on Saturday, yey!
Little fact: when I was younger, I used to play with kitchen set made of real clay from my mother's province every time we visit them and actually cook real foods there. But of course, the results  always failed. I was in Elementary during those days, don't judge! ^_^

I bought this from my recent holiday in St. Austell but I can't resist not to show it. I got it from Topshop there reduced for more than half price.
Green chained necklace adds drama to a simple lazy day look.

I watched a movie today and just discovered that they got smaller 3D glasses in the cinemas now. Yes, the last time I watched was... honestly I can't remember at the moment (that longggggggg . . . ).  Earlier, I went to see MIB 3 and I liked the movie since I didn't expect anything from it at all. Surprisingly, the movie was great.
I know  a lot of you agree with  me, maybe not with everything but somehow I know you did. x
