Jollibee on the third day.

Myself, cannot help but to taste my favourite "Jollibee meal".
Oh yeah, there's no chicken nor pasta in fast foods where I came from.
Just like any other Filipinos living or working abroad, the one of the first things we're all looking forward was the food (mainly Filipino dishes), next to our loved ones of course! Not to mention that I have been away for 3years and 4months, that was that long believe me! The photo above was taken last January 3rd, my third day in my home country.
I arrived at 2pm on the 1st, family fetched me from the airport and dropped by at my granma's house in Bulacan, arrived home at around 7pm so I wasn't able to look around town since it was already dark.
Second day, family and I went out to buy some grocery and revisit the "oh-so-famous" pacific mall. Naahhhh, I was just excited like that, and not to mention I got excited at simple things around me and that was one of those. Actually, I wanted to see the changes and the things that remained the same. Well, most of it stayed the same, it brought back memories when I was still studying, good and bad, you got it!
Any, third day was for me and the bFriend. He asked me what do I want to do, I said "Jollibee". So there I was. xx

Sunny Brighton once again

To be honest, I do not like going back to places that I have been here in the UK, to go on holiday of course. I thought it's just a waste of time since I already visited the place and knew what to expect. But then, I was wrong! This time, I came with bunch of friends and went back to the same place all over again. It was indeed a different experience. We stayed in a neighbor hotel and able to go to the beach huts in Hove, which by the way we didn't reach before. And yes, we ate my fav oysters by the beach. My Brighton experience will not be complete without eating them.

Hi Mr. Lobster, we met again!
I just hope the photo gave justice to the artwork behind.
Yeah, same hotel that we stayed in Scotland. Good thing we did not stay there this time.
Sightseeing like a boss
A must eat in Brighton, of course with white wine.
West Pier, it was burned yet look amazing.

Yes, I am wearing boots and tights by the beach. It was cold honey!

Book sale by the beach area
Thank goodness for the clear blue sky! :)
Finally, we reached Hove. We cannot find it the fist time.

Souvenir shop seafront
No, it's not gum balls dispensers

Where and what do you like doing in places that you keep coming back to dearies?? Is it always a different experience every time? I believe you all had a fantastic weekend! x

from Needles Park to Newport then Sandown Pier

The Asian in me, a mandatory pose before heading to Needles Park.
Yes, it rained.
Finally, after few hours of bus ride, we reached the Park.
The needles rocks and lighthouse
From a distance, from where I was standing.

Chairlift going down the cliff
Let's get it on!

Ohhhh my . . . !!
Panicking face!

Look how wobbly it was!!

Please do not ask too much from me, how can I manage to smile while sitting on a chair
few feet high away from the ground, cliff, water.
Okay I'm lying, I smiled.

It was dark, windy and cloudy when we left Sandown to visit the one of the tourist attractions in Isle of Wight which is unfortunately located on the other side of where we stayed. I know right! As I was saying, we rode a blue double decker and it started to rain, and mind, we did not get a direct bus from Newport to Alum Bay (by mistake), which was a good experience because we're able to tour the island by just sitting inside the bus and enjoy the view.
Anyways, we arrived in Needles Park and the sky started to become clear. I first had a peep at the Needle rocks and roam around the park, I was planning to get unlimited ride ticket to the chairlift for £6 instead of a return ticket for £4 but it's so windy that they may stop the lift early that day. So I took the return and rode the lift. At first, I panicked because it was wobbly and so high!! :P but when I saw that it wasn't that fast, I started to calm down (I got no choice, I was already up there). :D
As you all know, I'm not a theme-park-ride fan, I just do not like the idea of a fast ride. I'm not really afraid of heights, as long as it's secured and slow, I'm cool with that. ;)

Old school carousel

Also, we had the chance to see how they made some of glass vase that they sell in the park as remembrance. It was great for a pound, £1. However, the vase itself was quite pricey. Well, if you saw how it was made, may be you'll pay the price.

It's getting darker again, time to leave.
Basically, Newport is the centre of Isle of Wight but do not expect a lot. The place have lots of shops but not that usual high streets stores. But then, you can still enjoy the place, anyways, it's good to visit places that you have never been. ;)
Hello Newport!
Nothing much to do, okay. Back to Sandown.
Just a quick visit in Sandown Pier, few minutes walk from our B&B.

Knackered? yes, may be a little. I've seen a lot and I had fun.

Hi sweeties, have you visited Isle of Wight? Where is your favourite town and what made it your favourite?
Have you ridden in the roller coaster? tell me about your experience, I have never been and what can you say to convince me to try it?? x

Hey, there's more in Brighton!

Hey guys!I have been planning to visit Brighton few years ago but schedules were not jiving. And this is the time, yeyyy! And all was set two weeks before the trip but the weather forecast doesn't agree with us. I was in doubt because I left London with gray sky. However, the sun smiled when we arrived. Walked straight to the beach area since the hotel was just in the sea front. We sat by the beach and i nearly doze off. Hahah! ;) The first day was the usual browsing and we just ate out, had oysters then had some cider by the beach and went back to the hotel. I'm from night shift (yes, I slept at around 9pm up until the next day) hahah!

Seafront hotel window
The second day was the long one. We accidentally pass the rail going Marina and have no idea what's on thr other side but still had a go. It was a 15 minute ride by the beach and 5-10 minutes walk. As I was starving, the restaurant was the first stop. Walked around the area and we saw some shops, more restaurants and the parking area for yatch as I call it. Hihih! Also, visit the free museums and make the most out of your visit :)

Brighton Wheel

I really liked the graffiti in the town.

All in all, a lot didn't know that there's more in Brighton than the pebbles in the beach instead of sand and the well known "Pier". Well, I can say that the town area and Marina deserve some attention too. If you've been there, go back and explore more. If you haven't, atleast now you have the idea and share something that I didn't mention. I will defo go back. How is your British summer so far? :)

I know there's so much to do in here but always enjoy the simple things such as sitting (or lay down) by the beach and watch the waves and clouds. Priceless.
My daily dose of oysters. ^^

Mandatory stupid shot :)
